4 Aug - We had a great ceremony today. I turned over command of the battalion to LTC Joe Gann. For the last 25 months, I was honored to work with some great people and do some important work. Before the ceremony, COL Haley presented Kim the Commander's Award for Community Service for all her work for families in the unit and community volunteer service.
We don't know for sure where our next assignment will be - here, DC or Iraq. More to know next week.
