Divisional Swim Meet
23 Jan - Jamie had the divisional swim meet at Ramstein. She was in the 11-12 Age group. The teams were Heidelberg, Berlin and Stuttgart. K'town won. Jamie improved 0.5 sec on her 50M Freestyle and qualified for European Championships in that event. Jamie won two of her 3 heats. She finished 6th overall in the 50M freestyle.
She improved almost 2 seconds in the 50M Butterfly and finished 5th overall. Finally, she was about a second slower in the 100M Freestyle but finished 4th overall. She has a really good meet considering she is also competing with some really good 12 yr olds.
The European Championships are in Eindhoven, Netherlands the second weekend in February. Jamie will swim the 50M Free and the 200M Freestyle and might get picked up in a few other events.
